Do not miss this! Prizes for best Oral and Poster presentations will be generously awarded. They will include 1 Best poster presentation on Chemistry, 1 Best poster presentation on Metallurgy, 10 Best poster MH2024 presentations and 1 Michel Latroche’s prize to the best oral presentation of a young researcher.
Oral presentations
The speakers should prepare their presentations in PowerPoint in agreement with their allocated time:
Plenary: 50’ talk + 10’ questions
Invited: 25’ talk + 5’ questions
Regular oral: 12’ talk + 3’ questions
Strict discipline will requested to session chairs for respecting allocated time so as the attendees can move between the 3 parallel sessions to build up their personal program.
Speakers Preparation Room is in the « Salle Charcot », located at the first floor near the “Salle Bouvet”, where a technician and members of the LOC (local organization committee) will be available to load your presentation making it ready for use at the Symposium. All speakers should visit the speakers’ preparation room and provide their PowerPoint slides on a USB stick at least three (3) hours before their presentation to ensure that your presentation is loaded and ready for your session.
The « Salle Charcot » will be staffed by the technician and LCO members during the following time slots:
- Sunday 26 May: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Monday 27 May: 8:00 am to 0:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm
- Tuesday 28 May: 8:00 am to 0:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm
- Wednesday 29 May: 8:00 am to 0:30 pm
- Thursday 30 May: 8:00 am to 0:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm
- Friday 31 May: 8:00 am to noon
Posters presentations
Poster sessions will take place in the “Salle of Grande Large” on the first floor
Two poster sessions P1 and P2 are programmed. They will be held on Tuesday 28 and Thursday 30, respectively, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
For P1, posters should be placed during the following hours:
- Sunday 26 May: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Monday 27 May: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Please, take down your poster at the end of poster session (Tuesday 28, 8:00 pm)
For P2, posters should be placed during the following hours:
- Wednesday 29 May: 8:00am to 2:00 pm
Please, take down your poster at the end of poster session (Thursday 30, 8:00 pm)
Maximum poster size: A0 format (84.1 x 118.9 cm). Fastening straps will be provided to fix the posters.
